Behind every call, there are real people who care about getting things right for you and your family.
Our Funeral Team are experienced, compassionate professionals who support families every day. For them, this isn’t just a job, this work has a real purpose.
Every member of the team has specialist training in supporting people when they may be at their most vulnerable, and they understand that no two families are the same. They’re here to listen, explain what happens next, and make sure every detail is handled just how you would like it.
When you contact Memoria Direct Cremation, you won’t be passed around a call centre. You’ll speak with a specialist whose sole focus is looking after you and your family, whatever stage you’re at.
If you’re planning ahead, our funeral plan consultants will talk you through your options, answer any questions, and help you put a plan in place. They understand that thinking about your own funeral can feel daunting, and they’re trained to make the conversation straightforward and pressure-free.

Funeral Plan Consultant | 2 years with Memoria
Shaun joined the Memoria team because he wanted his work in sales to genuinely make a difference to people’s lives. He’s known for his ability to put families at ease, particularly those who find talking about funeral planning daunting. His colleagues describe him as the team’s memory, the person everyone turns to when they need to recall a detail!
Away from work, Shaun is an avid golfer and a devoted uncle.
A moment that stayed with Shaun:
“I had a lady who was extremely nervous when thinking about death. I explained things in a way that reassured her and she couldn’t have been more grateful. That sense of reward from simply doing my job, that’s why I do this.”

Sam has been with Memoria for four years, drawn to the industry by a role that felt meaningful from the very first conversation. Outside of work, you’ll find Sam on the sidelines at her son’s football training and matches.
Sam’s advice to families:
“The sooner you register the passing, the sooner we can get a funeral date arranged, whether that’s an attended service or a direct cremation.”
Once you have chosen your funeral with one of our consultants, and it’s time to arrange the details, one of our Funeral Arrangers may take over. They will be by your side throughout, email, text, phone or even a video call, whatever you need. They have years of experience and know every aspect of what can be an otherwise overwhelming process.

Senior Funeral Arranger | 10 years in the funeral industry, nearly 5 with Memoria
Danielle has spent a decade in funeral care and leads the Memoria funeral arrangers. She was drawn to the industry after experiencing first-hand the difference compassionate support can make during bereavement. As Senior Arranger, Danielle oversees the coordination of every detail, and takes pride in the personal care her team provides, even without meeting families face to face.
Outside of work, Danielle’s world revolves around her children.
What Danielle wishes families knew:
“There’s a lot more planning and coordination that goes on than people realise. We’re usually looking after 40-plus families at one time, and every single funeral gets the same level of care and attention.”

Nicki has been with Memoria for seven years, bringing a calm and caring approach to every family she supports. Before joining the funeral industry, she worked in people-facing roles and was drawn to Memoria by the feel of the company and the chance to help families at one of the most difficult times in their lives.
Nicki enjoys walking, spending time with family, and is an active member of her local Royal British Legion, helping to raise funds for veterans and their families.
Nicki’s advice to families:
“Ask anything – there’s no such thing as a silly question. Not everyone goes through this many times in their life, and everyone grieves differently. There’s no right or wrong way.”

Carrie is also a rugby player and qualified coach who spends much of her spare time coaching in schools and the local community. Evenings are spent with her children – followed by a good book and a well-earned cup of tea!
Carrie’s words to families:
“Grief is a huge rollercoaster of emotion, from the highest highs remembering good times to the lowest lows of missing them so hard it hurts. It’s ok to laugh, it’s ok to cry. You may have lost your loved one, but don’t lose yourself too. The memories will always be with you.”
