When a loved one has passed away and cremation has taken place away from the family home or when someone has requested that their ashes be interred or scattered at a special place, we are on hand to offer you choices when it comes to the transportation of their ashes.
We believe that the family of the deceased deserve the ashes of their loved one to be transported in a caring and respectful manner and therefore we offer a fully accompanied service door to door, allowing the funeral director to assure the bereaved family and to give them peace of mind.
Our team have over years of 100 years’ collective experience within the funeral industry and can organise collections from all UK locations for onward delivery both within the UK as well as internationally if required.
Families will understandably be hesitant to place the ashes of a loved one in the hands of someone they do not know. Our bespoke, dedicated service across the UK assures families with confidence that their loved one’s ashes are in safe hands.
We are in full control of the safety of the ashes and we are able to provide you with the name of the ashes delivery expert from collection through to delivery.

Collecting at an agreed time we will transport the ashes to the required destination, be it to another funeral director, crematoria or directly to the family. If delivery is required at a specific time, we will arrange this for you too.
At point of delivery the driver will be dressed in a company suit and will introduce themselves at the door. They will hand over your loved one’s ashes and ask you to complete a receipt, a copy of which will be handed to you and another copy will be retained for our records. There will also be a certificate of cremation returned to you with your loved one’s ashes.
As with delivery within the UK we are able to arrange fully accompanied repatriation of ashes to most countries in the world, this would of course involve the courier hand carrying the ashes on board a plane to the destination and therefore carries the relevant cost implications, but we are more than happy to give you an idea of what this may be, please contact us and we will provide you with a quote for this to be carried out.
There are other more cost-effective options available for the transportation of ashes internationally and we would be happy to discuss your requirements and explain the processes.
Ashes can be collected from the crematorium or from the Funeral Director. In some cases, it is a requirement that the delivery destination is another funeral home, crematorium or cemetery but we can advise you on all the requirements and guide you through the process if you would like to contact us with the collection and destination details. Certain paperwork is necessary for International shipments to meet customs requirements, and this will be fully explained by our staff at time of booking.
